Products

Your products are the goods, digital downloads, services, and gift cards that you sell. You add a product in Reoplex by entering product details and uploading product images. If your product has options, like size or color, then you can add a variant for each combination of options.

You view, add, update, and organize all of your products and variants from the Products page in the Reoplex admin.

Adding and updating products

You can add or update information about a product such as its price, variants, and availability from the Products page in your Reoplex admin.

Product details

The details that you provide for a product affect the way that the product is displayed to customers, make it easier for you to organize your products, and help customers find the product. You don't have to provide every detail for each product.

Name and description

• Name: The name for your product that you want to display to your customers.
• Description: The description for your product. Describe your products in detail to inform and persuade your potential customers. If you're a reseller, then don't use a manufacturer's exact description, because you want your products to be unique to search engines.

Pricing

• Price: The price that you're charging for the product.
• Compare at price: The original price for a product that is on sale. When you enter a compare at price, the product displays this price along with the price like this GHS10.00 GHS19.99 with GHS10.00 being the current price and GHS19.99 being the old price
• Cost per item: How much it costs you for the product or variant. For example, if you resell a product, then you can enter the price that you paid the manufacturer, excluding taxes, shipping, or other costs. If you create the product yourself, then you can enter a value that is based on your labor and material costs. This will not be shown to the customer it is only used internally by Reoplex to provide you with excellent account services

Organization

• Category: A label that describes the category of a product. This label is selected from the Reoplex Product Taxonomy, a predefined, standardized list of product categories.
• Collections: The collections that a product is included in.
• Vendor: The manufacturer, wholesaler, or other vendor for the product. You can filter your product list by vendor, which can speed up ordering inventory.
• Tags: Tags are searchable keywords that you can associate with your product. Tags can help customers find your product through your online store search.
